HOW DOES PBL DIFFER FROM OTHER PROJECTS?

PBL is different from doing your average school project:

  • “Dessert project” : A short intellectually light project served after unit curriculum is taught and covered.

  • PBL (main course): The project is the unit curriculum. PBL is used as the vehicle for teaching the important knowledge and skills needed to complete the project.
